Olds Performance Products and SCE have developed this unique Batten exhaust gasket. As you can see this gasket has the addition of two extra bolt holes strategically placed in the correct location to give the header flange its maximum clamping ability without warpage. This gasket also incorporates the original bolt pattern design as well. Tests have proven, by adding two extra holes in each header flange, this design prevents the flange from distorting which is the leading cause of gasket failure.
