Description
A must when incorporating a high volume oil pump or increased viscosity oils such as a 15-40 or 20-50. The current factory housing allows for a significant amount of oil to be unfiltered or otherwise known as bypassed. This occurs even with a slight pressure differential between one side of the oil filters element to the other. This housing eliminates any chance of unfiltered oil. Unfiltered oil can destroy your engines bearings.
